How Indonesia has Developed Compared to Back Then
Indonesia nowadays has developed so much compared to back then. Society has changed drastically for better and for worse. We have been able to communicate with people from all over the world and connect stories with each other. We have the privilege to speak our minds in a free country like Indonesia. We have never been closer with each other even though we are from different places, have different religions, speak different languages, we are all from the same country.
Although society may have changed most of us, we still try to remain together and one. We celebrate special occasions, like our independence day, where we work together and we all celebrate the day our country gained its freedom. Technology also has a big impact on our society, it can bring us closer than ever before and farther away from each other as well, back then we didn't have those so called things like social media, they mostly communicated with their voices, we still do, but now there are many other ways to communicate.
Indonesia also has developed, economically, politically etc. Which will someday hopefully make our country move closer and closer to a developed country. Not only that, our human rights have changed as well, women and men are mostly seen as equals and are being treated the same. We can now say, we have had a female president, we have female ministers, and different races and religions are accepted in our community. Which means our country has changed a-lot, it has developed into an amazing and beautiful country, where everyone is accepted and we each are able to say what we want and speak our minds, state our opinions and our views, live freely- but still respecting the laws made by the government. Most of us are able to access books and education, unlike before where going to school was difficult compared to now.
